On Sunday, Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi

declared that a girl wearing a hijab would be the Prime Minister of India one day. This comes amid the Karnataka hijab row that erupted after a group of Muslim students were barred from entering their college on account of wearing hijabs.

All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Owaisi tweeted a video on Sunday, in which he said that women wearing hijabs will go to college, become district collectors, magistrates, doctors, businesswomen and so on
