BSP MP from Hamirpur joins SP

JHANSI: BSP MP from Hamirpur Vijay Bahadur Singh on Wednesday joined Samajwadi Party. Singh cited “lack of internal democracy” in BSP as “suffocating” and claimed that there was no dialogue between elected representatives and party chief Mayawati.

Singh said “dictatorship” was prevalent in BSP and individuals had no say in party’s decisions. Earlier, he had drawn flak from Mayawati for praising Narendra Modi.

BSP has replaced Singh with Rakesh Goswami as the party candidate from the Hamirpur constituency.
