Modi govt signed 150 contracts worth Rs 127,500 crore for armed forces, says Sitharaman

The biggest air show in Asia, Aero India 2019 will begin at the Indian Air Force’s Yelahanka station today. Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will inaugurate the air show in a short while form now. The Sukhoi SU-30, Rafale, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Super Hornet and the mighty B-52 Stratofortress bomber will be part of the air show. Ahead of air show, an Indian Air Force pilot lost his life after two Surya Kiran planes collided mid-air during rehearsals.
